Marine Water Cooled Chiller Units are designed and manufactured by Sindex Refrigeration for long service in heavy sea conditions. We also supply chiller units from Carrier or other brands.
The unit is running with green refrigerant HFC R134A, R407C proven to be non-toxic, non-flammable, refrigerant zero ODP and acceptable GWP, complying with EP notation and clean air requirement

● Horizontal type shell and tube marine condensers with liquid level indication sight glass fitted for water cooled chillers use
● Cu tube for freshwater cooled condensers as standard, the shell, tube plates and end covers made of steel
● Cu/Ni tube for seawater cooled condensers as standard, the tube plates and end covers made of bronze
● For unit capacity above WCCU-100, units equipped with multiple compressors and two independent refrigerant circuits
● Direct-expansion type evaporator with refrigerant in the tubes and chiller water flowing through the baffled shell
● The compressor fitted on the heat exchanger. Built-in unit type accessories minimize installation on board
● Electrical and automation control panel is divided into two separate parts. All controls and motor starting equipments necessary for unit operation are factory-wired and function-tested
● The panel enclosures are available from IP44, IP55, to IP56 complying with variable marine and offshore requirements. The panel is powder-painted galvanized steel sheet |
